  • Plant Specs

    This beautiful tree could be a show stopping ornamental however, it has many benefits to being a part of your homes edible landscape.  Will grow into a shrub-like tree from 8-12' tall with clusters of white blooms, producing small purple to black colored berries in late summer, early fall.  Plant typically produces fruit in its second year.

    Full sun/partial shade. Prefers well drained soil but can withstand wetter areas; drought tolerant once established.

    Hardiness zones 4-9.

    Traditionally the berries of the Elderyberry plant have been used to build the bodies immune system against attacks of nasty cold and flu viruses.

    If your plant fails to break bud or leaf, A Wells Farm will offer a one time replacement of  the plant within 6 months of purchase.



    Each plant is hand packaged with care.

    Currently shipping is ONLY available for bare root plants ordered no later than March 15, 2023.
